About the Nerd

Hi everyone!  My name is Wycee, and I’m currently a full-time student living in the Silicon Valley (California!) — the perfect place to be for a computer science major.  This website is all about makeup, hair, fashion, good deals, and anything nerdy!  I’ve loved makeup all my life.  I’m not a professional makeup artist or anything, but I have been wearing makeup since… 5th grade!  :-X  I also record and upload makeup/hair videos and post links here from YouTube.  I like all makeup brands, especially MAC.  I try to experiment with different brands though, from drugstore to high-end just to see if there really is color payoff.  I will post hauls, reviews, and any bargains that I find too.  Hopefully they will be helpful to you on your journey with makeup!  :B

Why the “nerdy” in nerdygirlmakeup?

Because I like telling nerdy jokes.  I tend to crack myself up.  I have a degree in mathematics (and was president of the Math Club), and I’m currently majoring in computer science.  I’ve been called a nerd (in a loving way) several times throughout life, and have grown to be proud of it!  So all in all, I’m a nerdy girl who loves makeup!
